Job Description:

We're looking for a seasoned professional with 8+ years of experience in claims assessment to take the lead in managing both Individual and Group claims—owning decisions, ensuring express guarantees, and driving compliance with precision.

Location- Mumbai, Malad

Designation- Claims Manager/ Sr. Manager

Notice period- Immediate Joiner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently assess and approve claims with full authority.
  • Ensure timely and accurate claims payouts, aligned with express guarantees.
  • Provide MIS insights with daily, weekly & monthly visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—UW, Compliance, Finance—to drive seamless BAU operations.
  • Manage audits, regulatory reviews, and respond to legal, compliance, and FCU-related matters.
  • Lead pre-claims (post-issuance) risk management initiatives.
  • Guide and grow a team with purpose and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in Claims Assessment, Life Insurance.
  • Experienced in handling individual retail insurance claims, including both early and non-early stage claims.
  • Proven track record in handling audits, legal cases, and regulatory responses.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
