Greetings for the day As discussed, please see below the Job Description for ‘Specialist-US GAAP Reporting’. Experience- 3yearsCTC upto 15LPA ONLYLocatiion-Pune/RemoteRoles and responsibilities The resource will be responsible for executing the day-to-day activities of the team they are assigned to within the department. The resource is expected to manage their assignments based on prioritization and direction and raise issues as appropriate. The resource will be primarily responsible for Insurance accounting/reinsurance accountingand is expected to work more independently. Activities to be performed Monthly close and related processing and development and preparation of analysis (e.g. account analysis, preparation of journal entries)Preparing and analyzing account reconciliations, and preparing reports for management, stakeholders and regulatory bodiesPreparing quarterly/annual statutory financial statements and schedules/exhibitsPremium revenue recognitions in accordance with standards and regulatory requirementsAccounting for reinsurance transactions, including ceded premiums, recoveries and balance due from reinsurersFinancial statement analysis & reporting and preparation of management reporting packagesPreparing analytical schedules, analyzing variances, and providing analytical support based on individual review and internal customer requestsSound knowledge of NAIC regulatory filings and statutory notesExpertise in direct state reporting for U.S. insurance companies Strong ability to handle audit requests and queries with precision and compliance focus SOX compliances and internal audit controlsSkilled in interpreting ratios, annual reports, and audit reports for financial and operational insightsPreferred Qualifications:Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accountancy, Business finance/administration / CPA or CFA candidate preferred.4-6 years for B2 roleExperience working in Insurance/reinsurance accounting area along with basic knowledge of IFRS & US GAAPProficient in tools like advance MS Excel, dashboards, Word, PowerPoint &MS AccessStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Workiva, Workday &Sovos will be added an advantageIf you find this interesting and in line with your career aspirations, kindly revert to this email with your confirmation & updated CV harshita@rightmoveconsultants.com.
