Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with over 10 years of experience specializing in Fortinet security solutions and Aruba networking technologies, including the entire Aruba stack. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex network infrastructures at an enterprise level. This role requires deep expertise in Fortinet firewalls, Aruba switches, and wireless LAN management to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Fortinet security appliances and Aruba switching and wireless solutions.
  • Perform advanced Layer 3 network engineering tasks including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLAN design, and IP address management.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate), including VPNs, security policies, and threat prevention.
  • Manage and optimize Aruba switch configurations, including ArubaOS, ArubaOS-CX, and Aruba ClearPass for network access control.
  • Oversee the entire Aruba stack including wireless controllers, access points, network management, and Aruba Central.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network projects, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Implement network monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Conduct capacity planning, network health checks, and security audits.
  • Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
  • Stay updated with the latest network security trends, Aruba innovations, and Fortinet features.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in network engineering with a strong focus on Fortinet and Aruba technologies.
  • Expertise in Fortinet FortiGate firewall administration, policies, VPN, and security architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of Aruba switching platforms and wireless solutions, including ArubaOS, ArubaOS-CX, and ClearPass.
  • Strong understanding of Layer 3 routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), MPLS, and IP subnetting.
  • Experience with network automation tools and scripting is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of network security best practices and threat mitigation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE 4/5/6, Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX), or equivalent are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud networking and integration with Fortinet/Aruba platforms.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and implementation.
  • Knowledge of wireless network design and RF principles.
