Finance Trainee

About Us:
We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Finance Intern to assist with accounting and payroll tasks, particularly using Zoho Books and Zoho Payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with bookkeeping and daily financial entries using Zoho Books
- Help manage and reconcile accounts payable/receivable
- Support in preparing and issuing invoices, managing payment follow-ups
- Work on monthly payroll processing using Zoho Payroll
- Maintain accurate employee records for payroll and compliance
- Assist with monthly financial reports, tax filings, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure smooth payroll execution
- Analyze and validate financial data for reporting and decision-making
- Maintain well-organized digital financial records
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
- Prior exposure to Zoho Books and/or Zoho Payroll is preferred (training can be provided)
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
- Good communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
