We are looking for Senior Engineer in the field Bulk Material handling equipment listed below to work closely with the Global Engineering Team and Global Product Line Teams to drive the harmonization and globalization of our technical documentation. Apron feeders, Rail Car handling equipment (Wagon Tippler, Car dumper etc.) Stock yard handling equipment & Port handling equipment Conveyors

The candidate will be part of the Grinding Bulk Pyro (GBP) Servies (SVS) Engineering Team based in Vadodara, Gujarat, supporting multiple bulk material handling projects. The successful candidate must be proactive and able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, but also in a team orientated environment. Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This position will report to Deputy Manager, BMH, GBP, SVS

What you'll do

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare General arrangement drawings, Detail Drawing, and as Built Drawing for Bulk equipment. Prepare mechanical and structural 3D models, shop drawings, specifications, and procedures to facilitate fabrication, assembly, and construction for Bulk equipment or services to refurbish, upgrade, or retrofit. Provide technical support to local and global stakeholders Maintain a commitment to quality, ethics, and safety. Travel may be required as and when needed, including both domestically and internationally. Understanding need for confidentiality and ensure to secure company intellectual property.

Who you are.

Technical Competencies:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience / Degree of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of experience Applicants with relevant experience of minimum 3+ years in the above listed products from reputed companies would be preferred. Experience of preparation of structural 3D Models, general arrangement, detail, shop/manufacturing and as built drawing for equipment mentioned above. Experience of welding, machining and manufacturing of structural components of equipment's mentioned above. Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards like IS, ISO, ASME, DIN & FEM is preferred. Review ability of general arrangement, basic, detail and manufacturing drawings. Technical Interaction with team members and customers to improve performance. Travel may be required as needed, including both domestically and internationally. Maintain a commitment to quality, ethics, and safety. Understanding need for confidentiality and ensure to secure company intellectual property.

Software Competencies:

Hands on expertise in 2D & 3D drafting and Solid modelling is preferred. Working knowledge on Inventor, Autodesk PDM Vault Solutions SAP is a must have etc. Working Knowledge on any other PDM / PLM is good to have. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
