As a ITAM ServiceNow Operations Senior Consultant, you will support delivery of ITAM & SAM services for enterprise clients using ServiceNow platform. This role offers hands-on experience in configuring SAM data, supporting entitlement and contract management processes, and enabling successful platform operations.
You’ll work closely with global consulting teams and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality data, aligned processes, and consistent service delivery. As a Senior ServiceNow ITAM Operations Consultant, you will:
- Manage day-to-day tasks related to client engagements, including configuration, data validation, and system updates.
- Participate in regular calls and collaboration with internal global teams and client contacts
- Support project tracking, task status updates, including highlighting project risks and escalation. Thorough documentation of all work performed.
- Work within the ServiceNow SAMPro platform to configure and maintain modules such as Contracts, Entitlements, Software Models, Discovery Maps, Normalization, and Reconciliation.
- Perform entitlement-to-contract linking and assist in setting up license metrics including custom conditions such as Client Access Licenses (CALs).
- Execute structured data imports, ensure alignment with change control practices, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Support the creation and delivery of dashboard reports and platform health checks.
- Assist in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), configuration guides, and client reference documentation.
- Help develop and maintain reusable templates and tools to streamline delivery across client environments.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice alignment within the team.
Who you are:
- 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow, IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Exposure to ServiceNow SAMPro modules such as Contracts, Entitlements, Software Models, and Normalization.
- Ability to lead a complex workstream and proactively deliver to an outstanding level to meet client expectations.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in structured data handling and system configuration.
- Licensing contracts and compliance reporting experience.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while staying aligned with global team goals and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working in managed services or consulting environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise licensing structures and discovery tools.
- Certifications such as ServiceNow SAM Pro, CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager), or CITAM.
