Our commitment is to deliver quality and perfection for our clients.Experience Required: 5+ YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core PHP, WordPress, Shopify, and modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in backend logic, database design, and API integrations, along with a solid understanding of performance optimization and secure coding practices.You will work closely with our design, frontend, and project management teams to build robust, scalable, and efficient web applications tailored to client and business needs.Key Responsibilities:1. Web DevelopmentWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code to develop responsive and dynamic web applications.Customize and develop WordPress themes/plugins and Shopify templates based on client requirements.Ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.2. Backend Logic & ArchitectureDevelop and implement server-side logic, handle database interactions, user authentication, and application security.Build reusable components and libraries for future use.Ensure high availability and performance of developed applications.3. Framework UtilizationWork extensively with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Yii, or to expedite development while maintaining code quality and scalability.Follow industry best practices and design patterns (MVC, RESTful API design).4. Database ManagementDesign and optimize database schemas and write complex SQL queries.Ensure data integrity, backup, and performance tuning in MySQL or other relational databases.5. API Development & IntegrationBuild and consume RESTful APIs for integrating third-party services, payment gateways, and external data sources.Maintain documentation for API endpoints and integrations.6. Performance Optimization & MaintenanceIdentify and fix performance bottlenecks in both application code and database queries.Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of web applications.Conduct regular code reviews, testing, and debugging.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong command over Core PHP and OOPs concepts.Expertise in WordPress (custom themes, plugins, hooks, and filters) and Shopify (Liquid templates, theme customization, and API integration).Proficiency in Laravel/CodeIgniter/Yii or other PHP frameworks.Strong knowledge of MySQL, database design, and query optimization.Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap.Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).Sound understanding of RESTful API architecture.Knowledge of website security, session management, and error handling.Basic knowledge of server management, cPanel, and deployment pipelines.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to lead projects and mentor junior developers.
