Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company in international and industry standards development organization (O-RAN Alliance or 3GPP)
  • Develop, write, and contribute to technical specifications, proposals, white papers, and standards drafts.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D, legal, and product teams to ensure alignment of technical standards with business and intellectual property goals.
  • Monitor and analyze evolving standards and assess their impact on company products and technologies.
  • Participate in standards meetings, working groups, and technical committees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to influence standardization directions and timelines.
  • Track competitor contributions and identify opportunities for technical leadership and innovation in standards.
  • Attend technical standards workgroup meetings remotely and physically.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Knowledge and understanding of O-RAN Alliance and 3GPP NR Standards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of O-Cloud (K8S)
  • Knowledge of AI/ML usage in Telecommunication Networks.
  • Experience with prototyping, development or standardization of wireless products.
  • Available to travel to different destinations worldwide to attend standards meetings.
  • Strong communication, networking, collaboration and influencing skills.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • BS in Telecommunications, Electronics or Computer Science (MS is a plus)
  • 6+ years RAN/SON/Telecom Cloud development
  • 1+ year of experience with AI/ML Modeling and Use case development for O-Cloud
  • Candidates with Prior experience of Standardization (Delegate or Back office) will be preferred.
