Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Data Engineer, located in Bengaluru. The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures. Daily tasks include data modeling, performing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, and managing data warehousing solutions. Additionally, the role involves analyzing data sets to support business objectives and collaborating with cross-functional client teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Spark and Databricks ecosystem. 
  • Deep working knowledge of Databricks, including Delta Lake, Workflows, MLFlow, and Unity Catalog.
  • Experience in building robust ETL/ELT pipelines using orchestration tools like Airflow, Databricks Workflows, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Expertise in Data Engineering and Data Modeling
  • Strong skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics to support business objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience in AI and Machine Learning environments is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site setting
  • Tier-1 college (BE from IITs, BITS-Pilani, IIITs, top NITs, DTU, NSIT or MS in Stanford, UC, MIT, CMU, UW–Madison, ETH, top global schools) or exceptionally bright work history is a must.
