Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering Lead to drive the design and implementation of our data platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading high-performance agile teams, architecting data systems, and delivering scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise in data engineering to develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures that meet business needs.
  • Develop and execute plans to improve data quality, governance, and security.
  • Lead the development and deployment of data engineering tools and technologies.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is properly curated, processed, and presented for analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and apply knowledge to improve existing processes and systems.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong background in designing and implementing large-scale data systems.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud services, including ADLS, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and proficiency in SQL scripting.
  • Experience with unit testing, system integration testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Azure Data Engineering certification or equivalent experience.
