Description :Practice Lead Insurance ServicesLocation : Global / India Department : Delivery OrganizationExecutive Summary :Key Responsibilities : We are seeking a seasoned Practice Head – InsurTech to build, scale, and lead a high-growth insurance technology practice with a strong focus on Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance platforms. The role demands deep platform-centric experience, strong techno-functional leadership, and proven success in scaling revenue, delivery, and global client engagements.The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership exposure across P&C insurance platforms, with additional exposure to Reinsurance and Health Insurance ecosystems.Preferred - Duckcreek/ Guidewire practice Key ResponsibilitiesPractice & Business LeadershipBuild, scale, and own the InsurTech practice P&L, including revenue growth, margin optimization, and cost governance.Define practice vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for P&C-led insurance platforms.Drive practice growth across consulting, implementation, transformation, and managed services.Establish scalable delivery models from India for global insurance clients.Platform & Domain LeadershipProvide executive-level leadership across P&C platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, and Majesco.Act as a techno-functional authority, translating insurance business needs into platform-led solutions.Oversee solution architecture, transformation programs, and platform modernization initiatives.Extend core P&C capabilities into Reinsurance and Health Insurance where applicable.Client & Stakeholder ManagementServe as a trusted advisor to CXOs, Product Owners, and Transformation Heads at insurance carriers and brokers.Lead executive conversations around platform selection, transformation strategy, and roadmap planning.Support pre-sales, deal shaping, RFP responses, and executive solutioning.Delivery & Organization LeadershipLead and mentor Delivery Heads, Architects, Product Managers, and Consulting Leads.Build high-performance teams without direct hands-on coding responsibility.Ensure delivery excellence across quality, timelines, SLAs, and client satisfaction.Establish governance frameworks, best practices, and reusable accelerators.Required Experience & Qualifications20+ years of experience in Insurance Technology / InsurTech.Strong background in scaling P&C insurance platform practices from both delivery and revenue perspectives.Proven leadership experience with large, complex insurance transformation programs.Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar portfolios and global delivery teams.Ability to operate at strategic, commercial, and technical leadership levels.Core CompetenciesInsurance DomainProperty & Casualty (Mandatory)Reinsurance (Preferred)Health Insurance (Preferred)Technical & PlatformP&C Core Platforms (Policy, Billing, Claims)Platform Modernization & Cloud EnablementAPI-led Integration & Ecosystem ArchitectureData, Analytics, and Digital EnablementLeadership & BusinessPractice Building & ScalingP&L OwnershipExecutive Client EngagementTalent & Leadership DevelopmentGTM & Strategic PartnershipsWhy This RoleOpportunity to build and scale a strategic InsurTech practice.High-impact leadership role with direct influence on business growth and transformation.Exposure to global insurance clients and next-generation platform initiatives.Leadership autonomy with executive visibility.- Lead enterprise-scale solution design, architecture, and delivery across Insurance (Life, P&C;, Health, Reinsurance).- Own end-to-end solutioning including RFP responses, proposals, value propositions, and executive presentations.- Partner with Transformation Office to align solutions with strategic roadmaps and business outcomes.- Drive innovation, solution scalability, and reuse of assets, frameworks, and accelerators.- Act as a bridge between business, technology, and delivery teams across global geographies.Key Skills & Capabilities :- Insurance Domain Expertise : Deep understanding of Life, P&C;, Health, and Reinsurance processes.- Solution Architecture & Consulting : Proven experience in solution design, RFPs, proposals, and executive storytelling.- Technology Acumen : Exposure to automation, analytics, AI/ML, cloud platforms, APIs, and integration patterns.- Transformation Leadership : Experience driving large-scale digital and business transformation programs.- Stakeholder Management : Strong client-facing skills with senior leadership and global teams.Qualifications & Experience :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or related field.- 20+ years of experience in solutioning, consulting, or transformation roles.- Minimum 15+ years in the Insurance Services domain.- Proven experience delivering large-scale, global transformation programs.
