Data & Backend Engineer (Python, SQL): INR 20-30 LPA

Our Client is looking for a Data and Backend Engineer who's excited about building scalable, data-driven products and thrives in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment. If you enjoy working across the modern data stack - from ingestion to delivery - writing clean, efficient code, and collaborating to solve real-world business problems, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Own and enhance the full lifecycle of our data pipelines - from ingestion to transformation to delivery
- Design, implement, and scale robust data infrastructure in a modern cloud environment
- Write high-quality, production-grade code using Python or similar scripting languages
- Participate in technical architecture reviews and make thoughtful trade-offs
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to develop data-powered solutions
- (Bonus) Build and maintain web scraping systems for custom data requirements
Qualifications and requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with data-intensive product development
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with query optimization
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Go)
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proven track record of building and maintaining data pipelines end-to-end
- Familiarity with scraping frameworks and tools
- Self-starter with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-evolving startup environment
