Technical Skills: (Mandatory)

• Languages: ASP, ASP.Net, C#, C++, Java, J2EE etc.
• Middleware: IIS, Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat etc.
• Databases: SQL Server, Oracle
• Web Services: SOAP, XML, WSDL, JSON
• Environment: Windows Server, IIS, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, DMZ, SAN, Web, Virtualization, Windows Clustering, Network Load Balancing, Service Oriented Architecture, General Network Infrastructure

Test Environment Architect/ Consultant - IT Environment Management JD:

• 8+ Experience in Test environment Management
• Good Communication skills
• Should be able to create , manage Test environment ( Non Production environment)
• Good Understanding of Test data , policies and procedure to set up the test environment
• Good understanding of below activities related to test environments
• Allocation of test environments to teams as per requirement. (Demand management)
• Creation of new test environments as per requirement. (Supply management)
• Environment Monitoring (Monitoring)
• Deleting/ updating outdated test-environments and its details (Housekeeping)
• Preliminary investigation of issues on the environment and sometimes co-ordination till an issue resolution (Incident Management)
• Analyzing data for environment issues, identifying trends and taking pro-active steps to resolve issues / co-coordinating for a long term fix. (Problem Management)
• Exposure to leading test environment management tools like -Enterprise Cloud SaaS for Release, Test environment management etc. Extensive Hands on knowledge on key industry trends test environment management.

• Incident Management
• Configuration Management & Service request fulfillment
• Environment Scheduling and contention management &
• Release and Deployment management
• Should understand the current utilization of the test environment assets and suggest industry proven tools for effective utilization of test environments
• Should have hands on knowledge on Continuous Integration and Continuous deployments (CI/CD)
• Fair knowledge on types of test environment operating model , maturity levels and measurement criteria
• Rational knowledge on enterprise level test environment landscape at infrastructure layer , application layer and user level
• Hands on experience in defining the enterprise test environment strategy
• Hands on experience in synchronizing organizations IT release strategy with environment strategy
• Prior experience in transforming the fragmented operating model into centralized test environment operating model
• Demonstrated ability to grasp and translate complex technical concepts, think independently, and suggest solution approach to achieve the target operating model
• Strong customer orientation and a professional approach with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to changing and competing priorities.
• Should have experience in consolidation, simplification and re-use techniques in test environments
• Should have fair knowledge on CLOUD computing, virtualization and service virtualization to analyze and suggest environment utilization related solutions
• Sound knowledge of business/ organization, Bank standards, infrastructure, architecture and technology in related areas from a design/ support/ solutions perspective.
• Hands-on experience in review client's test environments across multiple projects/programs, recommend and gaining senior management commitment in driving towards best in class operating model
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• Perform any assigned deployment activities that are required to provision a Project, CR, PR or baseline release into the integrated test environments.
• Provide support for Projects, CRs or PRs that are currently undergoing testing. Such support includes carrying out activities including deployment of releases, investigation and resolution of incidents (defects) and other activities necessary to support testing.
• Provide technical support to their team and peers.
• Review and provide feedback on all deployment material associated with applications within their area of knowledge.
• Raise incidents within approved tools for any issues associated with deployment and testing activities. Track and monitor those incidents until they are resolved.
• Carry out RCAs as required on any environment incidents raised.
• Follow established change and incident management processes.
• Co-ordinate the engagement with the other Three and Third Party Vendor teams responsible for supporting elements of the integrated test environments.

Qualifications :

• 4 Year Degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ Years of related experience in a multi-tiered application environment
• Strong background in system design, development, architecture and application deployment on Microsoft and Java technologies
• Exposure to high availability design, internet security, identity management, session management, middleware messaging, and integration with third party vendors
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision making skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environment
• Proven track record in managing environments and deploying code to multiple environments
• Progressively responsible experience in large scale corporate systems analysis
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and with a third party development vendor
