Job Description
Nice Actimize is currently seeking to hire a Software Engineer to join the Actimize MS (Managed Services) Team.Responsible for leading and managing complex customer facing projects and programs to assure high quality and timely delivery of products and services with specific focus on customer satisfaction and the development of long-term client relationships.Responsible for the commercial success of engagements and ensuring that revenue and margins are maintained throughout the delivery and demonstrate commercial urgency in identifying and pursuing opportunities for Extension Services and Value-Added Services.This role demands timely and effective communications with internal stakeholders and at a senior level with customers across programs. Working closely with customers, managing their expectations, and ensuring that projects are successfully completed within budget and time scales and are perceived as successful by clients leading to positive CSATs (Customer Satisfaction). Excellent stakeholder management skills with the gravitas to build long term relationships to develop revenue streams and continued success for clientsMust be highly organized, proactive, articulate, understand the larger picture and commercially aware, and able to lead and delegate effectively.Energetic, committed, and enthusiastic, with the ability to prioritize and take ownership of complex situations and manage them to a successful conclusion. Responsibilities:
Determines technical feasibility by evaluating requirements and analysis as well as proposed solutions Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming Enhances existing solutions to match client requirements by configuring and customizing software using Actimize software, SQL, Java, and other technologies Tests and approves software solutions, configurations, and customizations Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process.Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques.Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems.Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers.Estimate level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology, offer suggestions to improve processes, and provide comments on some design aspects.Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing technical solutions in a timely fashion.Review product and/or application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy.Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, diagrams, clear code, and commentsRequired Skills:
2 to 4 years' experience with a Software Company.Prog. Language: SQL, Java, JS, API (Application Programming Interface)Web Technologies: HTML, CSS (Cloud Storage Service), XML, XSL, Servlets, Web ServicesDatabases: MS SQL and/or Oracle. Cassandra is a plusOperating systems: Windows and LinuxApplication Servers and Servlet Containers: WebSphere, Tomcat, WebLogic etc.Prior Actimize solution experience is a big plusAWS/Azure and Container experience is a plusTableau knowledge is a plusExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and spoken EnglishPro-active and Team Oriented approachBS degree in Computer Science or related fieldBonus point:
Prior Actimize / Banking knowledge or experience.Development experience in Java or Database expertise (Oracle / MSSQL knowledge of DB (Data Base) Tuning).Background in scripting language (Python, Shell script, PowerShell etc.)Enjoy NICE-FLEX
