Position: Test Analyst - ETL Tester

Experience: 5-10 years

Location: Hyderabad & Chennai

Job Description:

  1. Review and understand BRDs/SRDs
  2. Participate in data modelling and requirement gathering sessions to ensure testing aligns with business needs. Work closely with the project/development team (Business Analysts, Developers & other testers) to ensure timely and effective testing effort
  3. Ability to transform simple/complex Business logic into SQL queries
  4. Creating requirements traceability matrix (RTM)
  5. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data flows and identify test scenarios
  6. Participate in daily stand-ups and other meetings as necessary
  7. Develop and execute test cases based on ETL specifications and business requirements to validate data accuracy and integrity
  8. Document test results and report defects, working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution
  9. Conduct regression testing on ETL workflows following updates and enhancements
  10. Utilize automated testing frameworks to enhance the efficiency and coverage of ETL testing

TCS Eligibility Criteria:

  1. BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc./MS with minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience post Qualification.
  2. Only Full-Time courses would be considered.
  3. Candidates who have attended TCS interview in the last 1 month need not apply.
