This role is critical in ensuring high-performance, secure, and resilient database environments, especially during migration and optimization phases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in database setup, performance tuning, and implementing security and compliance standards in cloud infrastructure.Title: MariaDB LeadJob Location: Multiple Location (Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad)Educational Background: Bachelors degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics or related field is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement high-performance, resilient, and secure database solutions.Perform day-to-day migration tasks including backup/restore, cross-region replication, and database optimization.Set up, configure, and optimize MariaDB instances within AWS RDS environments.Assist in schema migration, query optimization, and troubleshooting during pre- and post-migration phases.Ensure database reliability, availability, and compliance with SLA requirements.Implement replication setups and verify backup/restore procedures.Understand and translate security guidelines into actionable technology tasks.Design and enforce security standards for AWS environments, Infrastructure as Code, and database encryption, monitoring, logging, and compliance.Skills Required:Minimum 7 years of experience in database engineering, with strong expertise in MariaDB and AWS RDS.Proven experience in database migration, backup/restore, and replication strategies.Advanced skills in query optimization, performance tuning, and schema design.Deep understanding of AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, monitoring, and logging.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Strong knowledge of security and compliance frameworks and ability to implement them in cloud environments.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives in cross-functional teams.
