This role focuses on maintaining existing deployment mechanisms, developing new ones optimized for the cloud, and contributing to core platform improvements. You will leverage automation, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management to ensure efficient and highly scalable deployments within a cloud-native architecture.Required Skills & Qualifications:From overall experience, at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or software installation packaging, with a focus on deploying and managing cloud-native applications.Expertise in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and orchestration, as well as traditional installer creation and automation tools (e.g., InstallShield, MSI, NSIS).Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their infrastructure as code (IaC) services (e.g., CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Google Cloud Deployment Manager) for automated provisioning of cloud resources.Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) with a strong understanding of their integration with container registries and cloud deployment services.Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell) with the ability to automate tasks within cloud environments.Understanding and practical experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform for managing both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.Solid knowledge of both Windows and Linux environments, including best practices for deploying and managing applications in the cloud.Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex installation and deployment issues in cloud-native environments, including networking, security, and scalability challenges.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering and product teams.Key Responsibilities:Own and improve existing deployment pipelines for AppScan 360, ensuring seamless operation and upgrades within its cloud-native architecture.Design, develop, and integrate new cloud-native deployment solutions for AppScan 360, emphasizing advanced automation, scalability, and high availabilityAutomate all aspects of the application lifecycle in the cloud, including building, testing, deploying, and monitoring AppScan 360.Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of new features and updates to the cloud-native platform.Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines optimized for deploying containerized applications to cloud environments.Implement and manage configuration management and automated deployments leveraging container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Tanzu, etc), ensuring consistency and repeatability across different cloud environments.Proactively troubleshoot and resolve installation, deployment, and upgrade issues specific to cloud-native applications and infrastructure.Contribute to the core platform development of AppScan 360, driving innovation and efficiency by leveraging cloud-native services and best practices.Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud-native installation, deployment, and DevOps workflows.
