Job Title: Quantitative Analyst

Location: Delhi, 110001 (In-Person)

About 16 Alpha:

16 Alpha is a SEBI-registered Category III AIF pioneering AI-driven, systematic investing in Indian equities, leveraging data, algorithms, and automation to deliver consistent alpha with disciplined, transparent, risk-managed strategies.

Role:

Drive quantitative research and model development for India’s equity markets. Work with large datasets to design factors, backtest strategies, and support live portfolio deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test alpha factors, ranking models, and portfolio strategies.
  • Build and run backtests; evaluate risk/return metrics.
  • Clean and integrate multi-decade market and fundamental data.
  • Collaborate with engineers to productionize models.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Math/Stats/CS/Finance or similar.
  • Strong Python, SQL, data analysis, and time-series modeling skills.
  • 0–5 years’ experience in quant research or algo trading (exceptional fresh grads welcome).
  • Knowledge of equity markets and risk management.
