CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE

Cloud Architect : Location : Pan India Year of Experience : 10+ Summary : The Cloud Architect is a hands-on infrastructure expert responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable systems across both on-premises and evolving cloud environments. This role provides day-to-day administration of traditional infrastructure while playing a key part in the company’s journey to cloud-native services. The Cloud Architect is platform-agnostic and collaborates closely with networking, security, and architecture teams to modernize infrastructure, automate delivery, and ensure operational excellence across hybrid environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Design, configure, and support hybrid infrastructure (Windows/Linux servers, VMware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, backups, storage). Develop and implement a cloud adoption roadmap, focusing on a seamless transition from on-premises infrastructure to a cloud environment. Optimize and secure the O365 tenant, implementing best practices for governance, compliance, and operational efficiency. Enhance collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online to maximize user productivity. Implement best practices for identity and access management (IAM), including Azure AD, Conditional Access, and MFA. Ensure compliance with data retention, security, and regulatory requirements within the O365 ecosystem. Work closely with cybersecurity teams to harden cloud environments and ensure security best practices are followed. Monitor and enhance system performance, availability, and disaster recovery capabilities. Optimize and secure the Microsoft 365 tenant (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online). Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain operational runbooks. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and mentor IT staff on cloud technologies and best practices. Strong hands-on experience managing Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and core infrastructure services. Proven knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V. Familiarity with core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file/print services) Proven knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V. Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and optimization. Expertise in cloud networking, security, and identity management (IAM, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA). Strong knowledge of licensing, compliance, and data governance in M365. Hands-on experience with OneDrive & SharePoint content migrations (user file mapping, permissions transfer). Deep understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, cloud computing (Azure, AWS), and hybrid environments. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Education and/or Experience : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Cloud Platform Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and migration projects. 5+ years managing collaboration tools such as Microsoft O365
