Job description
Role & responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth reviews of vulnerability scans, penetration test results, threat intelligence reports, and red team findings.
- Prioritize remediation efforts and coordinate mitigation activities across internal teams.
- Drive the refinement, automation, and continuous enhancement of vulnerability management processes.
- Prepare and present regular reports on vulnerability management progress and risk status to leadership.
- Ensure timely patching and configuration updates to maintain effective security defenses.
- Contribute to the definition and review of security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Stay current with the evolving threat landscape and industry best practices; recommend improvements accordingly.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and runbooks to support team operations and ISMS compliance.
- Collaborate with other security and IT teams to improve operational efficiency and overall security posture.
- Leverage AI tools to automate processes and introduce new capabilities in vulnerability management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Threat and Vulnerability Management.
- Proficiency with industry-standard VAPT tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, etc.).
- Experience working with cloud security tools and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible or late shifts, as required.
- Industry certifications such as CEH, Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
