minimize financial exposure from cyber threats.
Role Overview
Mitigata is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Controller to oversee all
aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial
reporting, compliance management, and taxation. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate
financial operations, timely financial reporting, and compliance with legal and regulatory
requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
● Oversee all company financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow
management, and financial analysis.
● Prepare comprehensive financial reports for executive management and
stakeholders.
● Monitor and manage the organization's financial performance, recommending
strategic adjustments as needed.
Accounting Operations:
● Supervise and lead the accounting team, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, invoicing,
payroll processing, and financial transactions.
● Maintain effective internal controls, safeguarding company assets and ensuring
financial integrity.
Compliance & Regulatory Reporting:
● Ensure timely and accurate regulatory and statutory filings.
● Liaise with external auditors, manage audit processes, and implement corrective
actions based on audit recommendations.
● Keep abreast of regulatory changes, ensuring company compliance with all
applicable laws.
● IRDAI compliance reporting
Taxation:
● Manage direct and indirect tax planning, filing, and reporting activities.
● Identify and implement tax-saving strategies in compliance with legal standards.
● Address and resolve taxation queries, notices, or audits by relevant authorities and visibility initiatives.
Key Skills & Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree or
CA/CPA qualification preferred.
● 8+ years of proven experience in finance and accounting, including at least 3 years in
a senior finance role.
● Strong understanding of accounting principles, compliance, regulatory standards,
and taxation.
● Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
● Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
