We are seeking an experienced and dedicated freelance Mathematics (Maths) teacher to provide online instruction for SAT and GCSE students . The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Mathematics and proven experience teaching international students in English. You will play a key role in preparing students for exams by ensuring they develop a solid understanding of concepts and effective exam techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons in Mathematics.
  • Provide personalised support and feedback to help students overcome challenges.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual students and groups, with a strong focus on exam preparation and high achievement.
  • Develop and share resources, including lesson plans, practice questions, and mock tests.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to parents or guardians.
  • Maintain a professional yet approachable rapport with students, fostering a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics (GCSE/SAT).
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse groups of learners.
  • Reliable internet connection and proficiency with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience creating engaging online materials (PowerPoints, quizzes, etc.).
  • 1+ years of tutoring experience with international students.
  • Willingness to work in the UK time zone .
