Power BI Specialist

We are supporting a well esteemed client of ours searching for a Power BI Specialist to work on a 12 month renewable contract.


Minimum Experience:

The ideal candidate will have strong experience on the following:


  • 5+ years experience working with MSSQL Server (22/19/16/12)
  • SQL Server: Database administration, performance tuning & optimisation, troubleshooting, backups
  • Deep expertise with Business Intelligence & Data analytics solutions such as Power BI, SSIS, SSAS & SSRS
  • Power BI: Integrations, advanced features, report development
  • Advanced Analytics: Utilizing Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) to create complex calculations and business logic within cubes.
  • Cube Development: Designing and developing multidimensional and tabular models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
  • Strong skills in data modelling, ETL processes, and report development
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as T-SQL and PowerShell - having a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
