We are looking for a skilled Linux / Windows Technical Support Engineer to join our IT team.

The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for Linux and Windows environments, managing local and cloud infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operation of systems and services.

This role demands expertise in systems administration, cloud platforms (especially AWS), and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-User Support Set up, configure, and support laptops and desktops (Linux, Windows, macOS) for employees.
  • Respond to and resolve technical support issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system access.
  • Provide remote and on-site support for users in a timely and professional manner.
  • Good knowledge Email client POP, IMAP, SMTP Protocol.
  • Experience in using a Helpdesk based ticketing system is a plus
  • Knowledge of Messaging system (Preferably Zimbra or any Linux email system support)
  • Administer and maintain Linux and Windows (file servers, application servers, etc.).
  • Perform routine system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies across systems and applications.
  • Ensure systems are secure, patched, and compliant with internal IT policies and best practices
  • Hands-on knowledge of Domain Management (Hosting, Registration), SSL, DNS, Website Management, Gitlab
  • Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
  • Plan, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments and integrations in AWS.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and cost.
  • Automation and Scripting
  • Develop scripts to improve reliability, system health checks, and reporting.
  • Backup, Recovery, and Security
  • Maintain backups.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Enforce security controls, patch management, and endpoint protection.
