Hardware RD Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hardware Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain test systems and fixtures for consumer electronics hardware. The role requires close collaboration with R&D, validation, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, cost-effective, and scalable testing solutions that ensure product quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom hardware test fixtures (mechanical, electrical, and mixed-signal interfaces) to support product validation and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, validation, firmware, and manufacturing) to define test requirements and methodologies.
- Work on schematic design, PCB layout, and integration for test boards and interface hardware.
- Develop and validate test automation hardware setups in coordination with software engineers.
- Conduct failure analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations on test hardware.
- Ensure test fixture designs meet safety, reliability, and compliance standards.
- Manage vendor interactions for fixture fabrication, components, and assembly.
- Document designs, processes, and test procedures for smooth handover to production teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in hardware development, preferably in consumer electronics.
- Strong knowledge of electronics design (analog/digital circuits, signal integrity, PCB design).
