Senior Python Developer / Sr. Back-End Engineer

Location: Any where in India.

Urgently looking for a seasoned backend engineer to build scalable, reliable backend services in a modern SaaS environment. You'll work with Python, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes to design and operate data pipelines and APIs that power our platform.

Responsibilities

·         Build and maintain backend microservices using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or similar).

·         Design and optimize SQL queries and schemas for performance and reliability.

·         Implement event-driven workflows using Kafka or equivalent pub-sub systems.

·         Collaborate with infrastructure and frontend teams to ship new features.

·         Write clean, testable code and contribute to CI/CD best practices.

Requirements

·         6+ years of backend development experience in Python.

·         Strong knowledge of SQL, relational schema design, and performance tuning.

·         Experience building APIs and background workers for real-time or batch processing.

·         Comfortable with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments.

·         Familiarity with distributed systems and async architecture.

Nice to Have

·         Experience with Elasticsearch.

·         Familiarity with event sourcing, stream processing.

·         Exposure to metrics, tracing, and production observability tooling.
