We are an integral part of Crane NXT, a $2 billion dollar business with over 5,000 associates Position Summary & Objective:The Accounts Payable Specialist processes and analyzes accounts payable transactions.Essential Functions Performed by the Position:• Verifies and pays invoices or employee expenses, executes check or payment runs, reconciles balances and maintains records.• Sets up and maintains vendors or suppliers in the accounting systems.• Ensures transactions are timely and accurate, and that expenses are accurately coded and allocated.• Prepares journal entries and reconciles general ledger or bank accounts regularly, monitors cash flow.• Responds to inquiries from vendors or employees and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies.• Assists in year-end or monthly/quarterly accounting procedures.Position QualificationsEducation:• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.Experience:• 2-4 years of accounts payable or accounts reconciliation experience.Language Proficiency:• Fluent in English.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.• Detail oriented.• Accounting skills.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?Work for a market leading, established product company.
