Blue Spire is looking for a a Sr. Engineering Manager for our Banking client who can lead and manage the delivery of an entire technology portfolio with full accountability and responsibility from initiation to closure. A critical aspect of the role is driving initiatives on the Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal configuration, customization, and integration with enterprise systems. Need to collaborate with senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional engineering teams, and foster a culture of high performance, innovation, and technical excellence and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver projects involving the Salesforce platform
  • Design and oversee Salesforce architecture to align with business processes.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of Salesforce with Enterprise systems through APIs and middleware.
  • Overseeing Salesforce configuration, customization, and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to align technical execution with strategic goals.
  • Collaborating with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts to deliver solutions.
  • Drive Program and Delivery Management activities, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Provide System Design & Architecture oversight, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
  • Oversee and guide API development efforts, ensuring adherence to best practices and enterprise integration standards.
  • Mentor and lead engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Engineering management or Delivery Management within complex, multi-team environments.
  • Strong expertise in System Design & Architecture and familiarity with enterprise-grade technology stacks.
  • Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with API development (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and integration patterns.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including:
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Salesforce AppExchange solutions.
  • Apex programming, Lightning components, and Flow automation.
  • Salesforce security, data model design, and role-based access control.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications, data warehouses, and middleware platforms.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Exposure to Agile, SAFe, or similar delivery frameworks.
