Job Title: Senior Implementation Engineer 

Location:  On-site - Perungudi, Chennai 

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer with experience in implementing Network IT Asset Management tools to join our IT Operations team at Chennai. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing network infrastructure and maintaining accurate records of IT assets across the organization. They will also have experience in ITAM tools such as Device 42/ Lansweeeper/ BMC Helix. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Device42/Lansweeeper/ BMC Helix/ Any other ITAM Tools implementation projects from scoping to go-live, including requirements gathering, solution design, and post-deployment support. 
  • Conduct workshops with clients to understand infrastructure, data center, and network architecture. 
  • Deploy and configure Device42/Lansweeeper/ BMC Helix/ Any other ITAM Tools discovery tools across physical, virtual, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). 
  • Integrate Device42/Lansweeeper/ BMC Helix/ Any other ITAM Tools with third-party systems like ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, and other ITSM/monitoring tools. 
  • Ensure CMDB integrity by designing robust discovery schedules and reconciliation strategies. 
  • Perform data imports, normalization, and cleanup as per CMDB best practices. 
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on Device42/Lansweeeper/ BMC Helix/ Any other ITAM Tools platform capabilities and best practices. 
  • Develop runbooks, solution documentation, and training material for client teams. 
  • Collaborate with internal project managers, architects, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in implementation of IT asset management tools like Lansweeper, Device 42, BMC Helix. 
  • Proficient in implementing and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks, IP addressing, and basic routing/switching. 
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to audit/compliance environments (e.g., ISO 27001, ITGC). 
  • Experience in supporting endpoint security tools and VPNs. 
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and asset lifecycle management.
