Looking for Lead - Structural Design for Global Design Center (GDC) Office at Bangalore.

Experience Level:

More than 15+ years of experience required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and supervise implementation of Civil & Structural (C&S) works for energy and power projects.

2. Perform C&S design works for energy and power related projects such as power plant, turbine foundation, HRSG, pipe racks/sleepers/bridge, underground pipeline culvert, infrastructures, etc.

3. Prepare C&S material take off (MTO) for cost estimation.

4. Preparation of C&S tender specifications, presentation materials for C&S works

5. Marine and Infrastructure planning & design for energy and power projects.

6. Carry out authorities' pre-consultation, submissions and liaison with authorities for approval.

7. Involving energy and power projects for feasibility studies, conceptual & detailed design, technical due diligence studies, site and technology assessment, technical consultation etc.

8. Supporting business development and project tendering works, proposal preparation, tender evaluation etc.

9. Managing the assigned tasks and be responsible for delivering satisfactory result under tight timeline, and willing to work beyond normal working hours if required.

10. If required, be assigned for site supervision or site residential role and be able to work under harsh site conditions.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Civil & Master degree holder will have added advantage.

2. At least 15 years post graduate working experience, preferably in the energy and power industry with proven track record at least with energy and power project design, construction and consultancy works. Candidate with gas/thermal power project experience will have added advantage.

3. Conversant in Eurocodes, MS & BS Codes, NFPA, API, ACI.
