About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Backend Developer Lead to join our team in Hyderabad.
In this role, you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing the entire backend development lifecycle for our healthcare and insurance products.
You will be responsible for managing project timelines and resources, ensuring code quality, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful products on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of backend developers.
- Provide technical guidance and direction for assigned projects.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Oversee the entire backend development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e., product designers, UI/UX developers, QA testers) to ensure seamless product development.
- Communicate project progress and updates clearly to stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Experience : 7+ years of experience in Java backend development.
Technical Skills :
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Experience with backend frameworks e., Spring Boot, JSF.
- Experience with databases e., MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with version control systems (e., Git).
- Experience with building APIs and web services.
Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Plus :
- Experience in the Healthcare or Insurance domain.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
