About the Role:

Zyoin is hiring a dynamic and strategic Director – Database Management to lead enterprise-level data migration and automation initiatives for an innovative software platform. This is a leadership opportunity for someone with deep technical expertise, strong process orientation, and experience in large-scale migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of Data Migration specialists .
  • Foster a collaborative, client-focused work environment and ensure the team is well-resourced and skilled.

Data Mapping & Transformation

  • Design data mapping and transformation plans to align legacy data with the platform's data model.
  • Maintain data integrity and consistency across systems.

Competitor Data Analysis

  • Analyze data structures and schemas from competing systems to inform migration strategies.
  • Understand unique data models to ensure effective transitions.

Automation System Development

  • Architect and develop automation systems for mapping, transforming, and migrating data.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and reliability .

IP Domain Expertise (Preferred)

  • Leverage understanding of patents, trademarks, copyrights , and legal data structures.
  • Collaborate with legal and subject matter experts for accurate IP data migration .

Technical Integration & Customization

  • Integrate automation tools with existing workflows and legacy systems .
  • Customize processes for unique data structures and compliance needs.

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Build QA frameworks and test cases specific to IP data.
  • Conduct validation for data accuracy, completeness, and system reliability .

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with clients to understand their data migration needs and expectations .
  • Offer expert advice to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.

Continuous Innovation

  • Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies in data migration and automation.
  • Drive ongoing improvements to tools, strategies, and workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure migration efforts align with product and business goals .
  • Share feedback on product enhancement opportunities based on real-world migration challenges.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

  • Document all processes, workflows, and tools used in data migration.
  • Conduct internal sessions to promote learning and consistency across teams.

Experience Requirements:

  • 15–22 years of overall experience with a strong background in data migration projects .
  • At least 10 years in leadership or managerial roles .
  • Proficient in automation tools , data transformation , and database management systems .
  • Experience in the IP domain is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with data integration platforms and QA practices .
