Data Engineer Advisor

Skills Required:

  • Under limited supervision, creates project-level data architecture artifacts for specific projects.
  • Working with the business, it, and other architects, facilitates the creation and evaluation of data models, and data governance data strategy through the review of requirements and use cases to recommend project-level artifacts with strategic initiatives and with the standard methodologies for development.
  • DB optimizing Performance, Design & interact DB's. Lead/Architect with a heavy focus on Data Analysis & DB building. Min 3 as Architect

Must-Have:

  • Azure, Power BI, SQL, Python, ETL Tools, Discovery tools, Big Data/TerraData
  • Azure or Azure Synaps, ETL Tools (such as Ab Inition, Azure Data Factory, Databricks or similar),
  • Presentation tools (such as Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau or similar),
  • Relational Databases (such as SQL, Oracle or similar)
  • Python or PySpark,
  • Building Data Pipelines (tools such as Jenkins, Git),
  • Agile processes and workflow, good interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication

Good to Have:

  • Abinitio, Azure Data Factory, PySpark.Jenkins, Git
  • Experience with a cloud platform (such as GCP, PCF, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with CI/CD or DevOps,
  • An object oriented language (such as Java, Springboot or C# or similar),
  • Angular, API (such as REST, SOAP or similar)
  • Experience with different data types (such as JSON, XML, Parquet, Avro, unstructured) Data Modeling,
  • Understanding of Data Governance / Data Privacy, Data discovery tools, Data Tools (such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, Jupyter)
  • Agile processed and workflow

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems
  • Three years of coding experience in a professional environment OR Formal completion of a boot camp certification
  • 9-12years work experience in operations, business, or technical field
