About Us At Undocked, we help companies excel in e-commerce by delivering bespoke optimizations and cutting-edge analytics. Our experiences in retail and supply chain product strategy, technology, and operations have helped organizations succeed in their e-commerce and digital transformation journeys. We’re looking for a Senior WMS Developer (C / Pro*C) to help enhance and modernise core Warehouse Management System (WMS) platforms. You’ll design, develop, and optimize high-performance systems that power large-scale warehouse operations and automation environments. Key Responsibilities Core Development (60%) Design, develop, and maintain core WMS components using C, Pro*C , and Catalyst framework Implement complex warehouse business logic (allocation, picking, putaway, inventory) Optimize database transactions and performance using Oracle embedded SQL Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and enforce quality standards Integration & Collaboration (20%) Integrate WMS with automation systems (Exotec, Bastian AutoStore, etc.) Collaborate with Python/Django teams for C-Python integration Partner with DB developers to fine-tune Pro*C SQL performance Engage with operations teams to align business and technical requirements Technical Leadership (15%) Mentor junior developers in C and WMS development Lead technical design and architecture discussions Contribute to modernization and refactoring initiatives Document design patterns and core architectural principles Required Qualifications Technical Skills: 7+ years of C programming or Oracle Pro*C , including memory management and Unix/Linux systems Strong SQL and PL/SQL expertise, with focus on performance tuning Experience with high-volume OLTP systems and transaction management Domain Expertise: Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Catalyst, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump, SAP EWM (preferred but not mandatory) Solid grasp of warehouse operations, automation, and RF integrations Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles Professional Experience: 7–10 years total software development experience Proven track record delivering robust enterprise solutions in production
