Job Role - Assistant Manager - Mall Operation.
Location Malda, West Bengal.
Education:.
- Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certification in property or facility management is a plus.
Experience:.
- Minimum of 5-7 years in facilities management or mall operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Skills & Competencies:.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Extensive experience in Mall marketing.
- Knowledge of building systems (e. , HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in budgeting and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:.
Facility Management:.
- Ensure that all mall facilities (e. , HVAC, escalators, elevators, lighting, and utilities) are maintained in top working condition.
- Oversee regular inspections and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Manage emergency repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Security & Safety: Supervise the security team to ensure mall security and customer safety.
- Monitor CCTV operations and handle emergency or crisis management protocols.
- Implement safety drills and ensure compliance with fire and building safety regulations.
- Housekeeping & Landscaping:. Manage housekeeping teams to ensure a clean and attractive mall environment.
- Oversee landscaping efforts to maintain outdoor aesthetics.
Energy Management:.
- Optimize utility usage and reduce energy consumption.
- Identify areas for cost-effective upgrades, like LED lighting or smart systems.
Tenant Relations:.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries regarding operations or maintenance.
- Assist tenants during move-in, set-up, and move-out processes.
- Ensure tenants comply with mall operational guidelines, including safety and waste management.
