Job Description: Prompt Engineer (2 Years Experience) Location: Remote / Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 2 yearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Prompt Engineer who can design, test, and optimize high-quality prompts to deliver accurate, reliable, and context-aware outputs across multiple workflows. You will work closely with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to translate business requirements into structured prompts and agent instructions.This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience building AI-driven conversation flows, knowledge bases, system prompts, and prompt evaluation systems.Key Responsibilities1. Prompt Design & OptimizationWrite, refine, and optimize prompts for various use cases (voice agents, chatbots, content generation, workflows).Build structured system prompts, guardrails, and instruction hierarchies.Improve accuracy, tone, and reliability of outputs through iterative testing.2. Agent Building & TestingCreate conversational agents with domain-specific logic (customer service, sales, renewals, etc.).Test outputs across edge cases and ensure consistency in tone, language, and behavior.Implement fallback flows and constraints3. Knowledge Base StructuringConvert unstructured content (documents, scripts, SOPs) into concise KB formats.Maintain and version-control knowledge bases for different clients or use cases.4. Performance MonitoringAnalyze generated outputs and identify failure patterns.Conduct A/B testing of prompt variations.Track metrics such as accuracy, hallucination rate, latency sensitivity, and prompt cost.RequirementsMust-Have2+ years of hands-on experience in prompt engineering, conversational AI, NLP, or related fields.Strong command over English language structure, tone control, and instruction writing.Experience with LLMs such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, etc.Ability to design structured prompts, reasoning flows, and personas.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.Key CompetenciesClear communication & structured thinkingExtreme attention to detailAbility to break down complex flows into instructionsCreative problem-solving with constraintsFast learner with iterative mindsetOwnership and ability to work in fast-paced environments
