Position Overview:

As an Admission Counselor at Broad Vision World School, you will be responsible for managing the admission process and ensuring a smooth transition for prospective students and their families. Your role will involve guiding applicants through the admission requirements, providing information about the school's programs and facilities, and assisting with the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Admission Consultation:
  • Conduct consultations with prospective students and their parents to understand their educational needs, aspirations, and preferences.
  • Provide detailed information about the school's curriculum, extracurricular activities, facilities, and admission procedures.
  • Address any questions or concerns raised by applicants regarding the admission process or school policies.
  1. Student Recruitment:
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract potential students to the school.
  • Participate in outreach activities such as school fairs, community events, and marketing campaigns to promote the school and its programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to create promotional materials and campaigns targeted at prospective students and families.
  1. Application Processing:
  • Assist applicants in completing the necessary paperwork and documentation for admission.
  • Review student applications and ensure that all required information and documents are provided.
  • Coordinate with the admissions committee to evaluate applications and make admissions decisions in accordance with the school's policies and criteria.
  1. Enrollment Support:
  • Guide admitted students and their families through the enrollment process, including completing enrollment forms, scheduling placement tests, and submitting required fees and documents.
  • Liaise with academic and administrative staff to facilitate a smooth transition for new students and ensure they are well-prepared for their start at the school.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to enrolled students and their families as needed.
  1. Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, and educational consultants.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to admissions and provide personalized assistance and guidance throughout the application and enrollment process.
  • Conduct follow-up communications with applicants to provide updates on their application status and address any additional questions or concerns.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in student admissions, counseling, or customer service, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of educational systems, admission procedures, and best practices in student recruitment.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and database management systems.
  • Empathy, patience, and a student-centered approach to counseling and support.
