About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Product Manager to drive our industrial robotics business growth in India. You will be responsible for market strategy, competitive positioning, and accelerating revenue by leveraging your deep knowledge of robotics solutions and local market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors (e.g., Nachi, Epson, Yaskawa, KUKA) and identify gaps/opportunities in India's industrial robotics market.
  • Product Strategy: Define product roadmap, pricing, and localization needs tailored to Indian manufacturing sectors (automotive, electronics, F&B, etc.).
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Work with sales/channel partners to drive adoption, create training materials, and support key accounts.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Align with R&D (for product adaptation) and marketing (for campaigns).
  • Long-term Expansion: Lay groundwork for future Southeast Asia/Japan market entry.

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years in robotics product management, application engineering, or technical sales at a robotics OEM/distributor.
  • Familiarity with industrial robots (SCARA, Delta, 6-axis, cobots) and Indian market pain points.
  • Competitor Knowledge: Hands-on experience competing against Nachi, Epson, Yaskawa, or KUKA is a plus.
  • Profile Flexibility: Open to candidates from:
  • Product management backgrounds (OEMs).
  • Technical sales/app engineers with deep product expertise.
  • Distributor/channel experts who understand robotics solutions.
  • Mobility: Willing to relocate to Chennai (or frequent travel). Non-Indians (e.g., Southeast Asian professionals) open to long-term India base are welcome.
  • Language: Fluent English; Hindi/Tamil/Japanese proficiency is a bonus.
