Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Strategist Intern at Elemantix. The intern will be responsible for developing social media marketing strategies, optimising social media channels, and managing public relations. Daily tasks include content strategy creation, communication with stakeholders, and social media optimisation.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Content Planning: Develop content calendars, plan campaigns, and ensure consistent messaging across all social media platforms.
- Platform Management: Oversee day-to-day management of social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and emerging platforms.
- Campaign Execution: Design, execute, and monitor social media campaigns, including organic and paid initiatives, to achieve key performance metrics.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms to identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Audience Engagement: Build relationships with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly and authentically.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to keep strategies innovative and effective.
- Collaboration: Work with creative teams, content writers, and designers to develop high-quality, engaging visuals and copy for campaigns.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors’ social media strategies to identify opportunities and threats.
- Crisis Management : Handle negative feedback or crises on social media with professionalism and tact to protect the brand’s reputation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Social Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of various platforms, including content formats, algorithm changes, and tools for scheduling and analytics.
- Content Creation: Proficiency in creating engaging posts, captions, and hashtags tailored to different platforms and audiences.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
- Advertising Knowledge: Hands-on experience with paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, budgeting, and A/B testing.
- Creativity: Strong creative skills to develop compelling campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
- Graphic Design Tools: Basic familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software for creating visuals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with audiences and presenting strategies to stakeholders.
- Organisational Skills : Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and platforms efficiently.
- Trend Awareness : Awareness of emerging trends, tools, and innovations in the social media landscape to keep the brand competitive.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams, to achieve objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in managing challenges such as negative feedback or low engagement rates with a strategic approach.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt strategies based on analytics, audience behaviour, and platform changes.

- First 3 Months: Focused on learning and growth, with no stipend during this period.
- After 3 Months: A stipend of INR 7,000 will be provided.
- Future Opportunities: Based on performance, there is potential for transitioning to a full-time role with a starting salary of INR 15,000-20,000 per month.
