We are building a culture that develops new leaders, drives performance and embraces change- all while staying true to who we are.Role Objective:The Formulation & Development Chemist will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and documenting cosmetic and personal care formulations—from concept to commercial scale. The role demands a strong understanding of formulation science, raw materials, stability testing, and documentation, with the ability to independently manage new product development.⸻Key Responsibilities: • Develop and customize formulations for skin, hair, body, and hygiene products (powders, sprays, creams, gels, cleansers, lotions, etc.).• Prepare and maintain detailed formulation sheets, stability data, and technical documentation.• Conduct lab trials, compatibility, and performance testing.• Coordinate with vendors for ingredient sourcing, specifications, and COAs.• Support pilot and production batch scale-up with QA/QC and Production teams.• Maintain formulation library and ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory standards (BIS / ISO 22716 / MoCRA / EU).• Continuously explore new actives, textures, and trends for innovative product ideas.⸻Required Qualification & Experience • Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or Pharmacy.• Experience: 2–8 years in formulation and development of cosmetics or personal care products.• Strong understanding of emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, and rheology.• Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.• Capable of working independently and driving projects from ideation to launch.⸻Why Join Us: If you have the curiosity to innovate, the discipline to build systems, and the hunger to create lasting impact, then KBC is where you belong.This is your opportunity to help shape our next chapter — and we’d love to see what you can build with us.
