(Portugal)We are looking for a Junior CTO (Hands-On) — a highly technical engineer who codes every day, but who also has the maturity to take ownership of our growing ecosystem of systems, integrations and platforms.This is a role for someone who wants to lead through execution, influence technical decisions, build solid systems, and grow quickly into a full CTO position.🔧 What You Will DoAs our Junior CTO, you will:Lead the development and evolution of our Django-based portalBuild and maintain REST APIs (Django / FastAPI)Develop real-time communication features (WebSockets)Integrate local LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines and AI-powered featuresManage deployments, Docker, Linux servers, Nginx, troubleshootingImprove system architecture and ensure code qualityCreate documentation, internal standards and technical processesSupport and improve ERP-related workflows (basic Odoo knowledge is enough)Work directly with the CEO to define priorities and technical roadmapThis is a hands-on leadership role: 80% coding + 20% technical leadership and decision-making.🧠 Requirements (Mandatory 4–7 years)Strong experience in Python & DjangoSolid knowledge of Django REST FrameworkStrong SQL and PostgreSQL experienceHands-on experience with Docker, Linux, NginxFamiliarity with LLMs, LangChain, RAG, embeddings or FastAPIAbility to take ownership and work independentlyGood communication skills in EnglishProblem-solver with product and business awareness⭐ Nice to Have (Not Required)WebSockets (Django Channels / Socket.IO)Celery & RedisExperience with Odoo (even intermediate)Experience in startups or small tech teamsCI/CD pipelines🚀 What We OfferHigh autonomy and direct impactFast-track growth into Full CTOWork on multiple live projects (AI, automation, integrations, chat system, backend services)Long-term role with stable responsibilities100% remote work opportunity with an international team
