Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer (Fresher)Job Type: Full-Time | Rotational ShiftExperience Required: FresherNote: Salary Range:Mangalore - ₹17,000(Take Home) – ₹20,000 CTC per monthNight Shift Allowance- Per day ₹250Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux) on desktops and laptops.Provide hardware support, including assembly, upgrades, and basic troubleshooting.Assist with installation and configuration of standard software and updates.Handle basic networking issues including DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewall configuration.Set up and troubleshoot MS Outlook (configuration, backup, restore).Support user account management in Active Directory (add/delete/disable).Manage BitLocker encryption and recovery processes.Install and troubleshoot network printers and scanners.Perform antivirus installation, update, and system virus protection checks.Provide remote desktop support and on-site troubleshooting as needed.Coordinate with hardware vendors for repairs and warranty claims.Maintain inventory of IT assets (hardware and software).Key Skills & Competencies:Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systemsFamiliarity with networking protocols and conceptsUnderstanding of Microsoft Office Suite and OutlookGood problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEagerness to learn and grow within the IT field
