Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer (Fresher) Job Type: Full-Time | Rotational Shift Experience Required: Fresher Note: Salary Range: Mangalore - ₹17,000(Take Home) – ₹20,000 CTC per month Night Shift Allowance- Per day ₹250 Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux) on desktops and laptops. - Provide hardware support, including assembly, upgrades, and basic troubleshooting. - Assist with installation and configuration of standard software and updates. - Handle basic networking issues including DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewall configuration. - Set up and troubleshoot MS Outlook (configuration, backup, restore). - Support user account management in Active Directory (add/delete/disable). - Manage BitLocker encryption and recovery processes. - Install and troubleshoot network printers and scanners. - Perform antivirus installation, update, and system virus protection checks. - Provide remote desktop support and on-site troubleshooting as needed. - Coordinate with hardware vendors for repairs and warranty claims. - Maintain inventory of IT assets (hardware and software). Key Skills & Competencies: - Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems - Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts - Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook - Good problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Eagerness to learn and grow within the IT field
