Senior Commercial Manager, Flights

We're looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager, Flights to join our highly successful commercial team in APAC region based out of our Gurgaon office. The role is suitable for a self-motivated and ambitious individual with a successful track record of strategic sales, account / partner management with deep experience in India Flights space.
You will be responsible for commercial activities for our core flights business in India market. You will work closely with Travel industry partners such as Airlines and Online Travel Agencies to develop business growth strategies and execute against them to deliver value to Travelers and Partners as well as to aggressively grow our flights business in the defined territories.
In addition, as this role will be part of our new office in India you will help establish the office in Gurugram and be part of a small but enthusiastic team which we expect to grow alongside the success we see from yourself and the wider team.
Skills and Experience Required:
Deep experience in travel industry and specifically Flights is essential for this role. You will have overall 7+ years partnership experience (with at least 3-4 years in travel/Flights/airlines) or equivalent. Proven success in consultative or solution-selling environment as well as account / partner management Ability to develop relationship including C-levels and able to navigate complex decision-making process in large organisations such as Airlines. Highly analytical and data driven decision making. Experience using data tools such as Tableau, and proficiency in Excel preferred Ability to communicate value and influence both internal and external stakeholders. Relevant experience in Travel, such as worked closely with Airlines, OTAs and/or GDS systems. Comfortable working within the hyper competitive market of India where success is driven by resilience and developing long term plans with partners.Core Responsibilities:
Accountable for market performance. Monitor relevant performance metrics and efficiently manage your time to focus on activities that grow revenue. Develop and execute market strategy and partner plans to deliver incremental revenue Identify and nurture key partnership opportunities for several APAC markets. Acquire new partners and grow existing ones to help partners succeed on Skyscanner's marketplace. Articulate and demonstrate Skyscanner value to partners, negotiate commercial agreements to grow our flights business. Oversee the implementation of partners onto our website by managing the end-to-end process and working closely with internal teams to complete integration of those deals 'on site'. This requires some level of technical acumen. Apply analytical skills to identify portfolio optimisation opportunities . Identifying and pursuing all opportunities for up-sell and cross-selling other value-added services that Skyscanner offers including advertising, data solutions and partner marketing opportunities.About you:
