We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to spearhead our Business Development efforts in the India Utility Market , with a core focus on B2G (Business-to-Government) engagements in the Renewable Energy sector .

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone passionate about clean energy, with deep experience navigating government channels and driving utility-scale renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with national energy goals and organizational vision.

Market Development

Identify, evaluate, and pursue opportunities including government tenders, RFPs, and strategic partnerships with PSUs and government bodies.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and nurture strong relationships with central/state government agencies, regulators, and key industry associations.

Team Management

Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Proposal & Bid Management

Oversee the preparation and timely submission of competitive bids and proposals for renewable energy initiatives.

Collaboration

Work cross-functionally with internal teams – including finance, legal, engineering, and project development – to ensure alignment and smooth execution.

Market Intelligence

Monitor policy changes, subsidy programs, and emerging trends to guide strategy and ensure a competitive edge.

Qualifications & Experience:

12–15 years of experience in Business Development

Minimum 5 years in Renewable Energy with direct B2G experience

Proven track record in winning large-scale utility projects

Strong grasp of India's renewable energy policies and regulatory landscape

Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

MBA or equivalent in Business, Energy, or related field (preferred)
