Reporting to: Technical Head - Meat Coating-RDA

 

This role will cater to set up the lab in Mumbai and handle the customer concept presentations for the region.

Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the development of new products and applications for Kerry’s customers within the Foodservice chains across Mumbai Region.
  • Build an in -depth knowledge and understanding of our customer’s needs, supporting the development and delivery of winning solutions for menu growth and development.
  • Develop a full understanding of the Kerry portfolio and business capability, and delivery, to support new customer concepts.
  • Support high profile internal food events, assisting with equipment organisation, sample preparation and presentation.
  • Need to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • To be able to develop recipes that can be made using food manufacturing processes whilst at the same time making sure that these recipes are innovative and creative.
  • Knowledge of various cuisines focusing on Culinary with added knowledge of Bakery and Confectionery.
  • Able to bring real value to the business by having an innovative mindset / approach as well having a keen eye for detail, being a true team player and being able to be positively self-critical.
  • In many instances it is expected to meet tight deadlines, so you will be comfortable in high-pressure situations and able to work effectively.
  • There will likely be travel in the job to meet customers.
  • Deep knowledge/experiences that goes alongside product / menu costing, sourcing ingredients and knowledge of food trends.
Qualifications and skills
  • Min of 10-15 years experience in the Industry with Minimum 5+ years as Development or Innovation Chef in Food company, Ingredient Company or QSR industry.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills Excellent foodservice sector and industry knowledge
  • An Accredited Culinary Arts Certification
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certification
  • Degree in Hotel Management /hospitality
