The Director, Go-to-Market (GTM) Practice Solutions usually operates in a large country environment and takes guidance from the senior leadership team, globally and particularly within region.

The primary objective of this position is to lead, manage and implement a consistent and sustainable practice aligned to and in support of the overall business strategy. This employee will fulfil business development, practice development and product management functions that accelerate success within the assigned geography / practice. He/she ensures that the practice is grown in line with the global solutions and services strategy and contributes to the development of the practice strategy.

What you'll be doing

Job Description:

This role will lead the CSD GTM practice responsible for providing cloud transformation and application modernization solutions for Cloud Software.  This team responds to RFI/P/Q ( Request for Proposal) with Solution on Cloud Migration and Modernization.  This is a GTM role that sits within the sales organization to define projects and drive sales in cloud transformation, Application development using Agile and DevOps with POD operating model.  Must partner with account executives to drive strategic account planning and collaborate across multiple business units and portfolios to orchestrate and bring end to end solutions to our customers.

Profile:
â¢The role needs a Cloud visionary leader with strategic thinking with 17+ Years of IT experience including 5+ years of Cloud Solution Architect.
â¢Someone with proactive approach mindset and attitude, who is a great motivator, brings people together and synergize them to achieve exponential growth.
â¢Overall, 15-18 yearsâ experience with AWS or Azure Architect role for 2- 4 years
â¢Good hands-on AWS Services like, EC2, ECS, Fargate, Docker on AWS, Lamdba, RDS, Cloud Watch, Cloud trail, MongoDB or Azure equivalent
â¢Expertise in Cloud Migration and demonstrable experience of having successfully migrated a customer to a major public cloud platform AWS
â¢Expertise in using public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to build solutions solving business problems and making innovative use of SaaS and PaaS offerings.
â¢Understands whole solution architecture concepts and can communicate and negotiate designs with customer architects.
â¢Expertise in Cloud Governance and compliance.
â¢Able to devise novel migration approaches when migrating unsupported systems and high level estimation for different treatment types (rehost, re-platform, refactor, & re-architect)
â¢Able to simply and clearly communicate technical design both high level and low level - in conversation, documentation and presentations.
â¢Able to make effective decisions within fast-moving delivery.
â¢Able to manage a team in delivering to a migration plan.
â¢Working knowledge of cloud automation services and tooling.
â¢Experience mentoring and coaching members of your team and wider community
â¢Active participation in knowledge sharing activities, both within the team and at a wider capability level and externally where appropriate.
â¢Proven ability in Cloud assessment (AWS/Azure) to arrive at the ideal treatment option and present/convince the client on the same.

 Desirable:

Expertise in utilising the latest migration approaches and technologies including the containerisation of services.
Has sound knowledge on one or more programming languages (such as C#, Java, legacy programming languages, etc) and application architecture principles
Has good hands-on knowledge on application integration (distributed) patterns (such as pub/sub, event driven, REST etc)
Proven experience being accountable for major migration projects, e.g. multi-team/time-based deadlines.
Has pro-actively developed business across an account with sales and account managers.
Able to prioritise their time across multiple major projects.
Expertise in using multiple public cloud providers and on designing Hybrid cloud solutions (over integrations).
