Essential qualifications : M Pharm MBA (preferred)
Location : Mumbai
Experience :8 - 10 yearsâ experience in functions like business development/licensing and marketing from reputed healthcare MNC/Indian cos
Other competencies required (If any)
- Good understanding of the ânew productâ landscape in pharma (new molecules, combinations and NDDS) â need not be in all therapy areas
- Good understanding of Pharma sourcing operations â including regulation, key suppliers and capabilities etc.
- Good commercial acumen
- Analytical thinking.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Strong in Leadership and Interpersonal Skills.
Brief Job Description
- Provide inputs to define the strategy and manage the execution (assisted by a team) of sourcing for the domestic business â this includes identifying molecules, building a perspective on the business case, identifying suppliers, handling negotiations, contract structuring, ensuring delivery (quantity and quality) and monitoring compliance
- Monitor relationships with the key sourcing partners of the company (existing and new)
- Assist the R&D and Manufacturing teams for tech-transfer, as required
- Partner with business and medical teams in defining the new product pipeline for the various therapy areas which the company is in
- New molecules and combinations
- NDDS (existing brands and existing molecues/combinations)
- Value engineering (e.g, packaging changes, cost reductions)
- Contribute to the internal R&D efforts of the company related to the NDDS pipeline â identifying platforms, accessing technology, structuring relationships with partners
- Assist to get the in-licensing of technology and products for the business â Indian and International companies
- Conduct competitor analysis to remain abreast of market trends and competitor movesÂ
