Job Description

As the Head of IT Governance, person will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the alignment of IT strategies with business objectives while managing risks appropriately. Person will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of IT governance processes and practices across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the effective management of IT resources and alignment with business goals.
  • Define and monitor key IT governance metrics and performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of IT governance practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure that IT governance requirements are integrated into strategic planning, project management, and operational processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to IT teams in complying with IT governance policies and procedures, including risk management, compliance, and security requirements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of IT risk management frameworks and processes to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor IT-related risks across the organization.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders on the status of IT governance initiatives, risks, and compliance activities.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, regulators, and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with IT governance requirements and facilitate audit and regulatory activities.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science.
  • Certification in IT governance, risk management, or related areas (e.g., CGEIT, CRISC, CISA, CISM) is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of IT governance frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 27001).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
