  • Deep expertise in sustainable finance related regulations, standards and frameworks that govern sustainable finance such as the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), the Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB), the  Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)
  • Strong problem solving, business diagnostic, and analytical skills with an ability to undertake technical and operational feasibility, engineering studies and evaluate economical, market, technical, operational, and other impacts of climate related issues on businesses
  • Advanced level proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project
  • Working knowledge of one or more widely used sustainable finance products and solutions (preferred)


Responsibilities

Roles & responsibilities

  • In the role of Assistant Manager, Climate Strategy (BFSI) you will take charge of overall project or specific tasks within the project, producing quality results with minimal supervision. Your contributions will extend to the conception and execution of engagements, encompassing aspects such as project management, establishing timelines, creating work plans, and assigning resources efficiently. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Contributing to the area of sustainable finance, SDG finance, sustainable finance regulation and compliance
  • Independent management of multiple moderately complex client projects focused on sustainable finance products and investments such as green bonds, social bonds, carbon finance, and sustainability-linked loans/bonds, seeking guidance from managers and directors as needed
  • Offering practical and achievable climate finance solutions and strategies to assist clients in transitioning to a low-carbon economy and accomplishing their sustainability goals
  • Continual enhancement of industry knowledge, market trends, competitor movements, products, and services and consistent demonstration of credible expertise in the sustainable finance domain
  • Setting strategic direction for client projects and steering project execution, ensuring top-tier delivery quality while mentoring less experienced team members
  • Providing leadership in the development of proposals, with an emphasis on constructing a client value proposition, distinguishing key factors, and establishing win themes that highlight the team's capabilities and market


Qualifications
  • Qualifications: Master’s degree in climate, climate finance, sustainable finance, or related disciplines from an accredited college/university
  • Experience: 4+ years of relevant work experience gained in sustainable finance, climate advisory, business consulting, multilateral financial institutions, industry, government, or related fields
